introduction

Hi all -

I'm a former Minneapolis Public Schools student and the current lead education staffer for the Citizens League. I went to Barton Open from kindergarten through 8th grad and then bounced around some Minneapolis high schools - first at South, then at Washburn. (I was NOT a great student!)

These days, I work on a lot of projects having to do with education policy, and I'm really interested to learn from everyone here about what's going in the schools - what's working, what's not, and what can be done differently to make things better.
