Interesting, Cori. I just saw a news program where someone said 35% of young people say they are cyber-bullied. So, more than 1/3 at least perceive they are bullied in this way. I think from what you're saying that part of the problem might be that students simply are NOT learning those things. There is a "gap" btwn what adults and young people know when it comes to tech use (you guys know more). So I sense a lot of young people aren't getting much guidance when it comes to this stuff?

No, cyber bullying is not a problem. How could it be when nothing on the internet is "real" in the strictest sense. Those that get or claim to be bullied know next to nothing about protecting themselves from malevolent programmers or even spyware, and those that are hurt by mere words have not seen the dark pits of the internet where the things that go bump in the night lie.
learn to internet, learn to protect yourself, learn to not take things so seriously.
Also, cats. That is all.

Jason, this is interesting...can you say more about this and what is going on? Also, be sure to post on the "bullying group" that you've started this group here, or they might miss it. I'm glad you started this group!
